Robert "Bob" Howard Geisler of Delta died May 12, 2018, of a heart attack, causing a motorcycle accident in rural Gunnison County. He was 51.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 8, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Hotchkiss, with James Gall officiating.
He was born on
April 25, 1967, to Ronald and Jeanne (Coleman) Geisler in Cañon City. He graduated from Cañon City High School in 1985.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a coal miner. He lived in Cañon City, Cortez and Delta.
He enjoyed his kids, grandchild and his Harley.
He is survived by three sons, Robert Todd of Dallas, Texas, Zackery Geisler and Tyler Geisler of Glenwood Springs; two daughters, Tiffany (Aaron) Toothaker of Hotchkiss and Caitlyn Geisler of Glenwood Springs; three brothers, Steve (Deb) James of Ansgar, Iowa, Russell (Tammy) James of Colorado Springs and Ronald (Tammi) Geisler of Paonia; one brother, Pamela Antunez of Ogden, Utah; and one grandchild.
