From the Delta Police Department:
July 13:

Heriberto Estrada-Perez, 21, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged driving motor vehicle while license denied and driving uninsured motor vehicle.

July 14:

Sarah D. Klumker, 38, of Grand Junction was issued a ticket for alleged stop light violation after being involved in a two-vehicle crash at 4th and Main streets. No injuries were reported. One vehicle was towed from the scene.

July 15:

Jorge A. Jaracuaro, 30, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged following too closely after being involved in a two-vehicle crash at Main and 1st streets. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

July 16:

Eloy O. McLaughlin, 44, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged harassment.

July 17:

Larry A. Christian, 63, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged reckless endangerment and prohibited use of a weapon.

July 18:

Melvin V. Jones, 51, of Montrose was arrested and jailed for alleged DUI (refusal).

July 19:

Eric J. Coutts, 28, of Denver was arrested and jailed for alleged driving on roadways laned for traffic (weaving) and DUI (refusal).

Wayne G. Dubs, 23, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged failure to yield to emergency vehicle and DUI (refusal).

James E. Burnett, 22, of Cedaredge was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $500 bond.

Citations: 15 tickets for traffic violations were issued this week, nine for speeding.

From the Delta County Sheriff's Office (partial list):
July 12:

A motorist who witnessed someone dumping trash on the side of Trap Club Road called in with a description and license plate number of the vehicle.

July 13:

A Ford pickup driven by Kenneth Tunstall, 45, was northbound on Highway 65 in the Eckert area when it struck a power pole at about 3:30 p.m. The driver was not injured. The sheriff's office, Colorado State Patrol and Delta-Montrose Electric Association responded.

July 14:

Devon Steen, 21, of Montrose escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident at Horn and H75 roads at about 7 p.m. His Dodge pickup left the side of the road and landed in a ravine.

July 15:

Sheriff's deputies responded to an accident on private property at about 7:15 a.m. Patrick Hindman, 47, of Grand Junction backed into a vehicle parked behind him on H15 Road. He was cited for no proof of insurance.

July 16:

Kellie Allen, 53, was issued a summons for third degree assault after an incident in the Delta County Jail involving Nicole McCollough. There were no serious injuries.

July 17:

A Crimestoppers tip resulted in the apprehension of Kaysha Devlin, 24, who was wanted on five warrants out of Delta, Adams and Gunnison counties. She was arrested at a residence in the City of Delta.

A 70-year-old Eckert woman was the victim of a scam targeting recently widowed individuals. The caller claims to owe money to the deceased spouse. To obtain the money, the surviving spouse is asked to mail a sum of money to the caller. In this case, the victim sent two checks totaling $2,300 to the Philippines and provided information about her banking account. The bank account has been closed, but Delta County Sheriff Fred McKee says there is little chance the money can be recovered.
