Falon Kaufman, the woman reported missing in last week's DCI, has been found, Delta County Sheriff Fred McKee confirms.
A Facebook post on the Cedaredge Message Board thanked all who offered assistance during the search.
***UPDATE-Friday, May 4 -- According to a Facebook post by her father Thursday afternoon, Falon has been found and united with her family. Apparently she got lost on the mesas around Cedaredge, and became stranded when her vehicle got high centered. She found shelter in a hunting cabin and stayed hoping someone would show up. She had also injured a knee and was waiting for it to heal a little before deciding to walk out. Someone picked her up and took Falon to the Silt police station. She is now resting at home with her two daughters.
Family members of Falon Kaufman are posting flyers on social media and in local businesses, searching for any information about her disappearance on April 19.
The search for a missing 82-year-old Delta County woman with dementia is centered in a remote area of the Uncompahgre National Forest.
Mary Finnegan was last seen July 15 at about noon, when she left a bowling alley in Montrose. She was driving a silver 2011 Mercury Grand Marquis.
