It is time for those organizations or individuals to register to participate in the Cedaredge Little Britches parade which will be held on Saturday, July 11. Registration forms are available at the office of the Cedaredge Area Chamber of Commerce located at 245 West Main street next to Cedaredge Town Hall.
Please note that the parade route has changed this year. Lineup will be on SW 2nd Avenue, near the Town Park; the route will be SW 2nd Avenue to SW 5th Street and east on West Main Street to SW 2nd Street to SW 2nd Avenue where it will end.
The Surface Creek Valley Lions Club will also be holding its annual cookout in the southeast corner of the park.
Non-profit organizations interested in setting up a booth to sell or display their products can do so at no charge. If you are interested, please contact Bill Miller at 856-6153.
Rodeo action at the Saddle Club Arena will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 10-12.
The clock is ticking. The Delta Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) has 120 days to reach agreement with the taxing entities it's asking to help fund a gateway project near the intersection of Highways 50 and 92. Half that time has elapsed, and there is no Plan B, city manager David Torgler emphasized during a meeting with taxing entities Monday.
