Longtime Cedaredge resident Dorman Floyd Frost died Dec. 28, 2017, at his home. He was 87.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at the First Baptist Church of Cedaredge. Interment will take place at Cedaredge Cemetery.
Mr. Frost was born on March 4, 1930, to Floyd and Olive Frost. He moved from Fort Morgan to Cedaredge with his family when he was 4. He attended Cedaredge schools and graduated in 1948.
He joined Cedaredge First Baptist Church in 1957 and remained an active member. He enjoyed working in his shop, family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Frost; daughters, Vickie (Bob) Anderson of Cedaredge and Marla (Joe) Fockler of Montrose; sons/nephews, Bruce (Sue) Boelter of Northglenn and Tyson (Tami) Hendricks of Grand Island, Neb.; brothers, Lee (JoAnn) Frost of Clifton and Vern (Connie) Frost of Cedaredge; sisters, Alice Sanburg of Eckert, Velma Hodges of Grand Junction and Joyce (Ray) Frey of Cedaredge; sister-in-law, Annie Hendricks of Grand Junction; grandchildren, Brenda Joy, Sam (Lindsay) Anderson, Daniel (Jessica) Fockler, Jared (Jannie) Fockler, Marshall Fockler, Andrea (Joe) Robinson, Amanda (Craig) Shindledecker and Wesley Boelter; 10 great-grandchildren; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steve Frost.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
