Cedaredge resident Donna Richardson died July 5, 2018, at Colorow Care Center in Olathe. She was 87.
At her request, no services will be held.
Donna Joy Curtis was born in Denver April 27, 1931, to Charles and Bess (Crangle) Curtis. She spent her childhood on Oaklands Ranch and attended school in Douglas County. After graduating from Douglas County High School in 1948, she attended Colorado Women's College.
On June 9, 1950, she married H.W. "Buck" Richardson in Kodiak, Alaska. They moved from Littleton to Cedaredge 23 years ago.
Mrs. Richardson enjoyed spending time with her family and playing golf with her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Buck Richardson; son, Chuck (Brenda) Richardson; daughter, Shelley (Steve) Schmitzer; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mike Richardson.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
