Bernard "Bud" McMillan died Aug. 1, 2015, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Grand Junction. He was 91.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at All Saints Lutheran Church in Austin, followed by inurnment at 3 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Mr. McMillan was a telephone installer and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; a son, Donald (Gigi) McMillan of Cedaredge; a daughter, Cynthia (Robert) McMillan-Empkey of Broomfield; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

The clock is ticking. The Delta Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) has 120 days to reach agreement with the taxing entities it's asking to help fund a gateway project near the intersection of Highways 50 and 92. Half that time has elapsed, and there is no Plan B, city manager David Torgler emphasized during a meeting with taxing entities Monday.
